Eva Kmentová (1928 – 1980)

Stele with Lip Print — double-sided three-dimensional relief, patinated bronze, overall dimensions of the sculpture: 173.5 × 30 × 17 cm.

Eva Kmentová created Stele with Lip Print around 1966 in patinated plaster. After her death in 1996, it was cast in bronze by the sculptor Olbram Zoubek (1926–2017), the holder of Eva Kmentová’s copyright and the custodian of her artistic estate.

Provenance: The work was originally acquired directly from the sculptor Olbram Zoubek.

The originality of the work was consulted and confirmed by Polana Bregantová. A certificate from the Kmentová Zoubek Foundation Fund is attached.
