Zdeněk Kunst (*1955)
Universe, 2025, fused crystal, cut and polished, signed Z. Kunst, overall dimensions 37 × 33 × 8 cm.
Author’s words:
This work is my own vision of looking into the universe. Within the mass of the glass, processes appear that resemble those taking place in cosmic space. The main motif is the wrinkled, cracked surface of a star or planet, partly covered by the shadow of another object.
